OCRAS

Nick is a director based in London who in 2018 left the Royal Marines to pursue a career in Film. He started in Production and AD departments on various HETV shows for SKY and the BBC, before making the transition into directing in late 2019.

 

His debut short film QUEENS was selected at several BAFTA qualifying festivals including Raindance, LSFF, Leeds International Film Festival and Iris Prize LGBT+ Film Festival, in the last of which it came runner up for the Best British Film. 

Since then he attended the prestigious National Film and Television School where he has just graduated from the Directing Fiction MA. He was sponsored by Andy Harries of Left Bank Pictures to attend. Alumni of the course include Rose Glass, David Yates, Joachim Trier and Yann Demange. The films he made there are all currently doing the festival circuit, with screenings coming up at Aesthetica Short Film Festival and Bolton International Film Festival.
